Empowering Young Leaders in disadvantaged communities in Togo

Inspiring Leadership for Togo's Youth in disadvantaged communities

Our leadership programs are designed to develop essential skills in young individuals in disadvantaged communities and equip them to become future leaders.

We equip, guide and connect teenagers from disadvantaged and poor communities with experienced mentors who inspire them on their leadership journey.

We provides leadership training, mentorship, civic responsibility, communication and public speaking skills, career orientation, and participation in community service projects. The program strengthens self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a sense of purpose, helping young people from vulnerable communities to become responsible citizens and future community and global leaders.

Our leadership programs are designed to develop strong, confident leaders among teenagers from disadvantaged communities in Togo 🇹🇬

Mandela Legacy

✔️Education as a Tool for freedom
✔️Courage and Moral Integrity
✔️Youth Empowerment and Nation Building
✔️Unity beyond division

We echo and honor Nelson Mandela's legacy by empowering young leaders to make a difference.

Inspired by the leadership legacy of Nelson Mandela, the Collective of Young Leaders of Mango-Togo (CJLM) is a structured leadership and mentorship program for adolescents aged 14–18 from disadvantaged communities in Northern Togo.
The initiative jointly launched by Professor John Nauright, from USA and Lecturer, Associate Dean for research and innovation at LSU and
Moïse Wassete Mugnouna, Togolese Young leader and Mandela Washington Fellowship 2025|LSU alumnus, as part of a shared commitment to youth leadership development in disadvantaged communities and community transformation for a sustainable future.
